DIRECTOR

From sourcing new products and then pitching them to customers, to working with suppliers on distribution and marketing strategy, Sanjay oversees business development opportunities of Damican. Sanjay also works closely with our CFO and fellow director Cynthia to manage the business’ operations and ensure our finances are in order. Sanjay's favourite pastimes include cooking his family’s favourite meals, heading out on outdoor adventures with his kids and scuba diving.

DIRECTOR

Overseeing a range of responsibilities at Damican, every day at work is different for Cynthia. Cynthia manages the relationships with our key customers, often visiting them in the Pacific Islands with new products to show and gathering feedback and insights to give to our suppliers to shape the market strategy. When away from the office, Cynthia seeks inspiration by listening to podcasts from business leaders and looking for new products in her local supermarket from different parts of the world.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Frank oversees the financial management of Damican, making sure the finances of the business are staying on course and under control. Frank works alongside Sanjay and Cynthia to discuss customers, products, orders, shipments and customer satisfaction. He is continually monitoring our systems and processes to ensure that customers are well looked after. In his free time, Frank enjoys being with his family and catching up with friends. Frank also enjoys reading about the latest in business, technology and the hospitability and food and retail industries.

PURCHASING & DOCUMENTATION OFFICER

Ivy controls day-to-day purchasing activities with suppliers, including coordinating production timelines for orders to ensure orders are ready on time. Ivy is responsible for liaising with shipping lines and forwarding agents so that goods arrive to customers as per their schedules, and preparing the relevant export documentation so that goods successfully clear customs. In her free time, Ivy enjoys reading Japanese manga, watching horror movies, and listening to podcasts about travelling.

SALES & MARKETING COORDINATOR

Felicia is the daily contact point for our suppliers and customers and ensures that communication with them is well managed. Felicia is responsible for analysing new products, managing repeat orders and creating new business proposals to customers. Felicia also helps put together our marketing plans and executing our marketing activities. When Felicia's away from the office you can catch her enjoying coastal walks, listening to K-pop, watching K-drama, or exploring different Asian cuisines.

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Celine manages the social media pages of our exclusive brands. From coming up with content ideas to designing posts and running ads, Celine overlooks activities related to content creation. Celine also monitors Facebook activities including consumer reactions and engagement to ensure that our pages are continuously growing. In her free time, Celine enjoys exploring new restaurants and cafes, and film photography of scenery, friends, and food.

OFFICE ASSISTANT

Bless assists the team with day-to-day tasks around the office. On top of general administrative duties, Bless provides assistance to both sales and purchasing, helping with new business proposals, arranging shipments for customer orders, ensuring pricelists and product catalogues are up to date. In her free time, Bless enjoys watching K-dramas or mukbang videos on YouTube.
